🌈 PACEY Discord 🌈

PACEY has found a team of leaders, and we are working to build our social events back up. In the meantime, we have decided to create a Discord for easy communication.

PACEY is PACE's social support group for LGBTQ+ teens and young adults.

The mission of the social support group is to provide a safe and affirming environment for peer-to-peer social interaction and support.

Statement from PACE: People Acting for Change and Equality

We are deeply saddened to report that all three anti-LGBTQ+ bills were passed during the 2024 Louisiana Legislative Session. These bills, championed by Republican Legislators and Gov. Landry, represent a new level of hate and harm directed at the LGBTQ+ community, setting the stage for costly legal battles.

Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, without exception. As we close this legislative session marked by increased prejudice, let this not diminish your pride. As Pride Month approaches, let us remember that our strength lies in our community. Pride began as a protest, and we must continue to stand strong and celebrate this month with unwavering resolve.

We must also stand against these legislative attacks and fight for the rights and protections our community deserves. The ongoing struggle for trans rights and equality for all is more critical than ever.

Stay proud. Stay resilient. Together, we rise.
